FAQs

Are the tyres you sell new?
Yes. We only sell new tyres. All our tyres are brand new products supplied from the major manufacturers.

On occasion we are able to obtain Factory Run tyres. These are tyres that have been fitted at the factory and then taken off at the car dealer so have normally run under 50 miles. These are normally cheaper in price and can be recognised by the denotation ''FR'' against the description.

Where can I have my tyres fitted?
We have fitting centres across mainland UK and more coming on line daily. Please check on ''find a local fitting centre'' for new additions.

Where do you deliver to?
We deliver any where on the mainland UK. Always check if any special supplements apply, this will appear before you order.

Do I have the same rights using a online shop as I do in a normal shop?
Quite simply, yes you do. Your rights as an online customer are the same as if were using a ''real'' store.

How secure is paying over the internet?
All credit card payments are encrypted in the software when ordering. This is carried out by Sec Pay on a secure server, which is protected by unbreakable encryption codes. Personal credit information is not held in clear text on ours or any other web site. For further information please refer to ''Your Guarantee'' section of the site.

What is an E marking?
It is a mark on the sidewall of a tyre that shows that it has reached the required approval requirements governed by EU directives or ECE regulations.

How often should you change your tyres?
The minimum legal tread depth limit is 1.6mm for car and van tyres. However, many agencies change their tyres at 3mm. We would recommend replacing your tyres at or before 2mm. (note: Tyre performance in wet weather deterorates when tread depth is below 4 mm)

Is the fitting price all inclusive, of balance & valves?
When you place an order the price you pay at the end on your credit card is the final price, you will not have to pay any of the fitting at the centres you visit.

Is the Wheel Alignment included in the price?
We are sorry but we can not include the wheel alignment in our cost, when you select a fitting station the price you pay is for tyre, valve, balance and VAT. if the alignment is required you have to pay for this separately with the fitting station.
