	Audi announces Bridgestone as tyre supplier for the Audi RS 5

		Audi have chosen the Bridgestone Potenza S001 as the factory fit option for their new Audi RS 5. Bridgestones new flagship UHP tyre, the Potenza S001 is now fitted to the Audi RS 5 (20" fitment). The new 450 HP Audi needed a tyre that delivered for the high braking forces and all wheel drive which also worked in tandem with the cars remarkable fuel efficiency. "Bridgestone is pround that Audi has chosen the new Potenza S001 for such a dynamic performer as the Audi RS 5" says Mr Didier Schneider, VP Original Equipment, Bridgestone Europe. "Bridgestone worked hard to meet the extremely demanding requirements in all areas of tyre performance". The tyre features "high grip" shoulder blocks whilst the inner tread area is tuned for safety with Bridgestone's premium wet pattern technology, the tyre also has a lighter belt construction and lower rolling resistance than it's predecessors, helping to increase fuel efficiency.
