Continental tyres award winning performance has again been recognised when they were awarded the top spot in the 2010 evo tyre test for their ultra high performance tyre, the ContiSportContact 3. This comes a month after picking up an award by Auto Express product honours.

The magazine tested the 205 45 R17 tyre on a Mazda MX-5 and chose a range of brands from budget to premium which represents the tyres available to today’s UK consumers. The tests included braking in the wet and dry, straight and curved aquaplaning and handling tests on a wet and dry track. This enabled the testers to get a real feel for how the tyres perform in normal day to day road conditions.
