	Bridgestone donate to Mercy Ships

		Bridgestone have once again donated tyres to Mercy Ships, who are an international charity that delivers “hope and healing” to the world’s forgotten poor. Mercy Ships operate hospital ships with multi-national staff and bring medic services to some of the world’s poorest regions. They have focused on the massive need for healthcar assistance in West Africa in recent years, which has led to the establishment of permanent land-based clinics. Bridgestone have given a consignment of Dueler 694 4x4 tyres which will be used on Mercy Ships’ fleet of 4 wheel drive Nissans. The Dueler 694 is ideal for the mixed use and rough conditions faced by Mercy Ship vehicles. The tyres were delivered to Johan Vroege, Procurement Manager at Mercy Ships warehouse in Rotterdam who says “Our vehicles face very difficult conditions in Africa, even in towns, these will make the job just a little bit easier”.
